Advisor to La Pavoni

Smeg acquired 100% stake in La Pavoni.

The shareholders of La Pavoni, a historical company engaged in the production of domestic and professional coffee machines, sold 100% of the share capital to Smeg, the Italian leader in the production of design household appliances.


La Pavoni, founded in 1905 in Milan, operates in high-end market sector. Established as the leading industrial producer of “espresso” coffee machines, it has contributed to spread the Italian coffee “espresso” in the world.


The model La Pavoni Europiccola Professional (1961) is exhibited in the Museum of Modern Art in New York.


The Smeg Group is one of the Italian leaders in the household appliances sector. Established first in the panorama of domestic appliance manufacturers, it has gradually moved in the professional sector.


For over 70 years Smeg has combined both aesthetics and technology and this has allowed it to obtain prestigious awards from important institutions and international magazines.


In strategic terms, this acquisition will lead the two companies to share the know-how and mutual affinities for types of products, with focus on the design, attention to detail and claiming the strength of “Made in Italy”.


Banca Euromobiliare acted as exclusive financial advisor to La Pavoni.
